Throughout the years we have been in services, we have learnt that the most ideal way to charge for our services is to ask them to pay for what they use. Therefore, our rates are time-based.

We publish them in half-hour blocks (30 minutes) and they are GST exclusive. When you work with us, you pay from the time we come to your premise up to the time we drop you at the new location. We also include a 30 minute call out charge that will cover the time it takes to your old home and from your new destination.

Yes we do! Our trained moving consultants can assess over the phone to send you a free, no obligation quote.

Moves that have specialty items or are above average in contents may qualify for a site survey.

Below are some average removal times that we have computed based on our experience. Remember these are just estimates, the actual time and price will depend on the number of boxes, furniture items, stairs, lifts, doorway, accessibility, and many others. We assume the travel time to be half and hour.

  • 1 br unit/house: 2-3 hours
  • 2 br unit/house: 3-5 hours
  • 3 br unit/house: 5-7 hours
  • 4 br unit/house: 6-10 hours

This is a 30 minute fee at the rate of your move that covers the time taken by our time to drive to your old home and from your new location. This fee is only applicable to the Sydney Metropolitan area. If you leave outside this jurisdiction, the call out fee will be indicated during booking.

We do not charge tolls unless it is the most efficient way to get to and from your pick up and drop offs. If tolls are used in your move, they are included in your final payment. Although it can be an additional cost; tolls can allow us to minimise travel time and the overall time it takes to complete the move, translating to a cheaper move for you.

Our rates remain the same from Monday to Thursday. On Friday to Sunday, we charge  10% higher rate depending on the size of the fleet used. Additionally, we include a 20% fee on top of the normal 30 minute rate on public holidays. Please contact us if you have any queries.

Yes, we highly recommend that we get an extra removalist for you especially if the task is huge. In fact, a three-man team will save you both time and money. Despite the fact that you will pay a high hourly rate, the work will be completed faster, and the billable hours will be less. Contact our office to get comparision rates.

 

Yes, you can see more details in our packing service page. We shall send a team of professional packers on the moving day, or on a day that you will suggest to us as long as it is before the actual moving date. We charge a rate per half-hour for two packers GST exclusive plus materials, and you will only be charged for hours worked. A 30-minute call out charge will also be included To assure you a smooth transit, we also provide a professional unpacking service.

This is an offer that helps our clients save a considerable amount of money while moving. Collect your unlimited free boxes 7 days before the moving date and return them within 28 days after settling in your new home. Ensure that all boxes are returned in good condition. Upon collection, you will be charged a deposit fee of $ per box, which is refundable when you return them.

Yes, we deliver packing boxes at a flat fee depending on the volume of cartons and where they ar to be delivered. We offer this service around Metro Sydney. In case you need a lot of boxes delivered, please contact us ASAP for arrangements.

We are professional removalists; hence we only employ qualified, accredited, and experienced movers. In case you need a team of your choice, inform us during booking and we shall do all we can to ensure they are available during your move. However, based on the nature of our job, we cannot assure you that you will have the team of your choice on the day. However, we shall provide you with high-tech equipment and manpower that will assure you of a speedy and smooth transit.

Yes you are! You may help with packing and loading, but we shall restrict you from entering our trucks for liability reasons. If you would like to assist in order to reduce costs, please deal with light items and leave the heavy ones to us!

We can move pianos with a maximum weight of 150kgs. During booking, please inform us if your move will include a piano so that we can make the necessary arrangements. There is an extra fee of $300 for moving this item, as you will need to have an extra removalist depending on size of move/truck.

Our goal is to ensure that we take care of your items including those that require extra TLC. We, therefore, move fine arts and antiques.

Yes, we have a single fleet that has a lift-back to take care of your heavy items. We send a truck that will fulfil your needs, and you can rest assured that we shall send a tail-lift vehicle if need arises at no extra charge!

We recommend that you visit our insurance page for more information. As professional movers, we hold certain insurances as required by law. Nevertheless, your furniture and other fragile items are transported at owner’s peril. Therefore, it is prudent to avail an insurance. Cancellations must be advised within 48 hours of the booking. If Fox Relocations are not advised within 48 hours your booking deposit will be withheld. If the crew arrives to do the job or if any same day bookings are cancelled, the minimum charge will be applied plus any extra charges.

We have trained our staff on effective interpersonal and customer relations skills; hence disputes are unheard of, and if they occur, they are solved on the support. But in case of any unresolved disputes, call us on 1300 956 100 for further assistance.

Your move will not be halted! Our team of professional movers will cover your items with water-proof elements to mitigate water damage.

The first move slot is at 7:30-8:30 Arrival with second removal booking at 1:00-4:00. All booking times are window times with a 30 min call prior. Please keep in mind, removalists may be slightly early or later than the booking window. Please call us on 1300 956 100 for more information.

We provide the option for a call on approach 30 minutes prior. Please request this when booking at least one day before your move is scheduled for.

We also call 24 hours prior to any move to confirm the booking details.

Yes, we protect them with blankets to ensure they are safe no matter what happens.

Payment must be made as soon as your move is complete. An admin fee of 2.5% applies to all jobs and booking confirmations. We take all major credit cards and AMEX.
