- Fun Fact #1: The Elephant Rocks are located on the southern side of Forty Baskets Beach. These rocks have been carved by erosion over millions of years and provide some excellent photo opportunities if you visit during low tide. They are a popular attraction for both locals and tourists.
- Fun Fact #2: Forty Baskets Beach is home to two shipwrecks, the SS Kooringa Belle which wrecked in 1909, and the MV Janie Ann II which sunk nearby in 1972.
