There are many shopping centres in Elanora Heights with up-to-date shops and restaurants. The two main centres are Oasis Shopping Centre and Warringa Mall, both of which have a wide range of stores for all your needs from fashion to groceries

Visit the Market

The Elanora Heights Farmers’ Markets is held every second Saturday or Sunday morning at the Bayside Community Church on Lloyd Street. There’s always fresh produce, as well as delicious food trucks! You can also eat some good street food while you’re there.

Go Cycling

Cycling around this beautiful suburb is an excellent way to explore it more intimately than by car. One side road that provides great views over Lake Illawong towards Sydney’s CBD is Wattle Road, which has a number of excellent cafes along it.

Visit Warringa Mansion

Elanora Heights is also home to a historic mansion called the Warringa, built in 1934 by John Hancock. It’s currently run as a museum with tours available around this beautiful building every day.

Go for a walk

Elanora Heights is also home to many great walking trails, including the Warringa trail which leads from Elanora Heights down towards the coast. There are several different options for this walkway and it takes around an hour to complete

Visit one of Sydney’s top-rated beaches with beautiful rock pools at Palm Beach! This small but incredibly popular beach has been voted number seven in Australia by Trip Advisor users. The sandy shores boast things like playgrounds, cafes, restaurants, and surf schools for all ages – fun for people of any age!

One of the best things to do in Elanora Heights is a picnic with friends! Pack a basket or bag full of food and get your family together for an outdoor meal. It’s healthy, cheap and fun too – perfect for all ages!

Watch a Movie

There are plenty of movie theatres here in Elanora Heights, NSW with some that show films earlier than most other cinemas. The Oasis Shopping Centre has two cinema halls while the Warringa Mall has four smaller ones – and there’s even a drive-in cinema nearby!

Soak Up Some Culture

The Lloyd Street Arts Centre is an excellent place to enjoy everything from theatre productions to music concerts and art exhibitions. It also offers workshops for adults on various topics like watercolour painting or clay modelling.
