Manly is a beautiful coastal neighbourhood in Balgowlah. With its green hills and sandy beaches, it’s the perfect place to relax during your time off from work. This article will provide you with the best activities to do while visiting Manly so you can have an amazing experience!

Have Fun at the Beach

The three main beaches in Manly are North Head, South Head and West Beach. All of these beautiful beaches feature stunning views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge as well as gorgeous sandy shores.

North Head is a popular spot for surfers to go during the day because it offers some great waves if you’re feeling adventurous enough! Meanwhile, swimmers will enjoy diving into one of their many rock pools or simply going through the waves on a boogie board at West beach.

If surfing’s not your thing then be sure to check out The Gap which has an amazing view that overlooks all of Manly, NSW with its strong winds blowing off the ocean and down onto land creating unique spots where kelp grows and seagulls fly about waiting for a snack.

For the best views of Sydney Harbour, visit Manly Hill which is a short walk from West Beach and provides hikers with incredible sights as they go up the hill to enjoy what’s on top!

If you’re feeling like exploring a little more then head east along The Corso until you reach Freshwater where there are plenty of things to do in Manly including Jetty Lookout that will provide visitors with an amazing view over Balgowlah Bay and Jibbon Rock – for those who want an adrenaline rush!

Each beach has its own unique vibe so depending on your personal taste or how much time you have at hand make sure to check out all three!

Enjoy a Boat Ride

If you have a little more time, then be sure to enjoy an awesome boat ride. There are many different boats in Manly that provide tours all day long! You can choose from the Sydney Bay Cruise, the Balgowlah Day Tour and even a Helicopter Ride over Sydney Harbour Bridge which will give you some amazing views of Manly’s surroundings as well as plenty of photos opportunities for your Instagram followers.

Have Fun Near North Head

North Head is also home to The Reserve – which features diverse trails through sandstone gorges with rough seaside cliffs covered by Ironbark forest on one side and beautiful beaches on the other. It has something for everyone so make sure to visit this part of town if you’re feeling adventurous and want to go on a short hike.

Explore the Foreshore

The foreshore in Manly is constantly changing as new waves wash up onto shore or old pieces of driftwood disappear back into the ocean. This area offers plenty of scenic views, interesting activities (such as bird watching), and chances for some quick snapshots!
