Annandale, NSW is a suburb in the Inner West of Sydney, Australia. It is located 10 kilometres from the central business district and has a population of about 12,000 people. Annandale’s close proximity to Sydney CBD means that there are many parks within walking distance for residents and visitors alike! Here are some of our favorites:

  • Elkington Park: This park has a fantastic playground and is close to the football fields. It is a great place to come with children and pets!
  • Brookvale Park: Brookvale is the nearest park for residents of Annandale. It has an extremely popular playground, green space, picnic tables, toilets and lots of trees. This park is often bustling on weekends as it’s so close to local shops.
  • Lisgar Street Reserve: The Lisgar Street reserve is usually used by locals for walking dogs and connecting with neighbours through friendly chats over morning coffees in the near cafe or bakery. There are good views from this small pocket park!
  • Cleveland Gardens: Another nature-based destination within walking distance from your front door, Cleveland gardens have plenty of paths leading you around natural habitats like fern gullies, saltmarsh, wetland and open grassy areas.
  • Ewenton Park: Ewenton’s main attraction is the sandy beach, which makes for a nice place to go on hot summer days. The park also has plenty of facilities like bike paths, BBQs and barbeque shelters and places to sit down with friends under shady trees.
  • Annandale Green: Annandale Green is home to some tennis courts as well as basketball hoops. It looks after its local inhabitants by providing seating areas where visitors can enjoy picnics or just watch those playing sports!
  • Beaumont Street Reserve: This small reserve doesn’t have much in terms of amenities but it does offer peace from the noise of traffic that surrounds this suburb! So come here if you want to escape from city life without travelling too far!
