Circular Quay is one of the most popular residential areas in Sydney, and with good reason! With a beautiful waterfront location and some of the best views in the city, it’s no wonder why this area is so desirable. Here are reasons to live in Circular Quay:

The ‘Cable Car’ connects Circular Quay to North Sydney for those who want easy access to work or just a change of scenery. This mode of transport is fast and easy, with no need to ever drive.

Circular Quay has some great views. It overlooks Darling Harbour, making this waterfront suburb perfect if you love water sports like swimming, fishing, or kayaking on nearby Cockle Bay Beach located at Pyrmont Bay Park – “The Little Marine Precinct” as it’s known.

A walk around Circular Quay will show you some of the best views in Sydney, where you can see iconic landmarks such as the Harbour Bridge and Opera House to name a few.

It has great public transport connections making it easy to get around town. Transport in this area is reliable and there are plenty of parking spots available.

There’s a great sense of community in this suburb, with lots to do for kids such as the Cockle Bay Library or Darling Harbour Park, which is just three minutes away from Circular Quay!

Circular Quay has easy access to schools including Sydney Boys High School at Kirribilli (just one kilometer), where you can take advantage of sporting facilities like the Rugby Field & Tennis Courts, not to mention its National Hockey Centre – home of the Australian Women’s team.

If nature’s your thing, then don’t forget that War memorial Dr offers some spectacular views overlooking Botany Bay towards Manly. You’ll also get an eyeful when travelling via the Sydney Harbour Bridge, which comes in at 13.30 metres high and 6400 tonnes!

For those of us who are more into art than sport – Circular Quay is also home to one of Australia’s finest museums, The Australian Museum. It’s only a few minutes away from your new residence with plenty of parking available for guests.

The area has great access to some five-star hotels such as Radisson Blu A’Vi Hotel & Spa or Intercontinental Terrace Suites Darling Harbor, both located right on Cockle Bay Beachfront or just around the corner from Circular Quay: perfect if you need somewhere luxurious to stay while visiting friends or family living close by.

It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk from Circular Quay, NSW or Kirribilli along the waterfront towards Darling Harbour, passing by some of Sydney’s best parks and viewpoints.

The area feels like a village where people are always out walking their dogs, playing with children in the park, or just enjoying their favourite coffee break on one of many outdoor terraces that line this beautiful waterway!
