Warriewood is a neighbourhood of Mona Vale that has been attracting more and more people over the last few years. There are many reasons to live in Warriewood, but here are some of the most important ones:
It’s close to the beach
No matter what you like doing on your days off, Warriewood is close enough for an afternoon walk or jog on one of our beautiful beaches. It is also home to Warriewood Golf Club, the oldest golf course on NSW’s Northern Beaches.
The location is perfect for families with young children
Warriewood has been ranked Australian suburb of the year by The Economist Intelligence Unit because it offers homes from $600,000 and good schools nearby – including a public primary school which offers bilingual education.
It’s close to shops and trains
Warriewood is just a 15 minute drive from the Chatswood rail line, making it easy for commuters to get into Sydney or head out of town on weekends as well as being located near major shopping centres like Warringah Mall. There are also many retail establishments in street level spaces within our neighbourhood, so you might not even need your car! It has quality facilities for sports fans and enthusiasts
We have a new aquatic centre which includes an indoor heated pool with 50 metre lap lanes plus a 25m outdoor pool that offers summertime swimming when others pools are closed because they’re too cold. We’ve got two soccer fields at Warriewood Park (one of which is a public grass field), as well as two netball courts. And for the walkers and joggers, we have six tennis courts to keep you active in your spare time
It’s close to bus routes
Warriewood has its own Warringah Council-run buses that run on weekends or weekdays if there are more than three students travelling from one area school to another. We also have access to trains at Chatswood Station – so no matter what mode of transport you prefer, it will be possible without too much trouble!
It has good schools nearby
Warriewood Primary School offers bilingual education (English and Chinese) while Mona Vale Public School provides an opportunity for higher achieving children with its specialist mathematics programme. There are also private schools in the area including Mona Vale Primary School, Warringah preschool and James Ruse Agricultural High School
It’s close to Sydney Airport
Warriewood NSW is an eight minute drive from Mascot train station with trains departing every six minutes from our neighbourhood straight into the airport terminal – so it won’t take long for you or your family to get there! And if you’re coming back late at night, buses run 24 hours a day making travel easy and convenient no matter what time of day. Plus, we have direct access to both Domestic and International Terminals via bus which is perfect when travelling overseas on holidays or business trips
