Fred Hollows Reserve is an environmental reserve in New South Wales, Australia. The area was named after the eye surgeon and humanitarian who devoted his life to restoring sight to people living with preventable blindness. Fred helped establish community-owned eye clinics and trained local health workers so that they could perform surgery on patients themselves.
