How do your rates work?

We use a per hour rate. We publish our per hour rates in half-hour blocks, which are inclusive of GST. You will be charged from the time we come to your property till when we reach your new premises. Our rates also include a half-hour call out charge, which covers the time taken to your old premises and from your new home. Unlike other Moving companies in the market, we do not estimate time worked.

Do you provide a firm estimate?

Yes! When you get in touch with our customer service department, our team of consultants will pay you a visit, identify the weight of your load, and you will get a quote –  totally free, no-obligation.

How many hours will it require to move to my new premises?

The time taken to move you from your present house to a new home depends upon a range of factors, including the number of packed boxes, the size of the furniture, and the distance. Likewise, the ease of access of your entrance, stairs, and lift play an essential role in figuring out the amount of time we shall take to finish the move.
Based on our experience, however, below are our approximated removal times for various houses;
* I bedroom unit/house- 2-3 hours
* 2 bedroom house/unit- 3-5 hours
*3 bedroom house/unit- 5-7 hours
*4 bedroom house/unit- 6-10 hours

Do you have a call-out fee?

Yes, there is a half-hour call-out fee at the cost of your move, which covers the time our team takes to drive to your old house and from your new premises to our offices. This cost is only applicable to customers residing in the Sydney NSW metropolitan area. In case you live outside this location, we shall indicate the call-out fee during reservation.

Do you charge tolls?

We will not charge you for tolls unless you ask us to use motorways, the toll cost will be included in your initial estimate. Keep in mind that when we use tolls, we minimize our travel times, thus saving you money and time at the end of the move.

Do you offer constant rates?

From Monday to Thursday, our removal rates stay constant. However, we charge higher rates on Friday through Sunday, depending on the size of your load. On public holidays, we include a 30% cost on top of the regular rates.

How will I benefit from having an additional removalist?

We highly recommend that you have an extra removalist so that your work can move quicker. If you have a big move, we will finish the work within a shorter timeframe if you decide to have a three-man team. Of course, your half-hourly charge will be higher, but we will bill you for fewer hours. This will save you money in the long run!

Do you provide packing and unpacking services?

If you need professional packers, we can send them out on the day you want or on the moving day. Two packers cost $40 per half hour GST inclusive. Likewise, we will apply a 30-minute call out charge. What makes our packing services unique is that you only spend for the hours worked.
To ensure that your transit is problem-free, we also offer  unpacking on arrival at your new location.

What is your free box offer, and how does it work?

Our free moving boxes offer is specifically made to assist our customers save cash during a move. To benefit from this offer, pick up unlimited free boxes a week before the moving day and return them within 28 days after you settle in your new house.
When you select the boxes, you will be charged a deposit fee, which will be reimbursed after you return them.
Remember to return the boxes in good condition so that they can be of help to other customers!

Do you provide a delivery service for packing boxes?

Yes, we can deliver packing boxes to your location at a flat charge of $34 exclusive of GST. We provide the service in all areas within the Metro area. In case you need packing boxes delivered in bulk, get in touch with our office now so that we can make arrangements.

Do you offer a removals storage service?

Yes, we can provide short-term and longer-term storage solutions for you if required. Just call our office for details.

Can I select a team to work with me throughout the move?

We are very professional removalists, and we only hire accredited, qualified, and experienced personnel. However, if you need to select a team that will work with you, kindly notify us in advance, and we will do everything in our power to ensure everybody is available on your moving day.
However, kindly note that we can not offer you an assurance that the team you pick will be available on the day you choose to move.

Do you move after-hours?

Yes! We move at a time that is convenient for you.

Can I assist during the move?

Definitely! You can offer all the help in packing and unpacking. For liability reasons, however, you cannot enter our trucks. Ife you wish to assist so that you can speed up the process and decrease costs, concentrate on lighter items, and leave the heavy ones to our team.

Do you have Insurance?

Because we are a professional Moving company, we have all the insurances required by law, including public liability insurance. Nevertheless, you need to know that vulnerable items and furniture are not covered by our insurances and are transported at the owner’s risk. For that reason, for your own peace of mind, we highly recommend that you make sure you obtain insurance cover before the moving day.

What happens if I cancel my move?

A cancellation within 24 hours of the move will incur an hour cancellation fee of $120.
If you notify us about the cancellation 72 hours before the move, you will get a refund on your deposit of $100.

What do I do in case I have a grievance?

Does rain impact the move?

No, but we will cover your items using water-proof protective products.

What time is your first move?

Our first move is at 7:30 am every day. In case you need a morning transit, call us on (02) 8766 0675
for arrangements.

What does the term “first available” mean?

If you book a move later on in the day, it just means that there will be other moves before it. For that reason, the 2nd moves of the day are considered “first available” which happen from 11:00 am. Third moves are likewise “first available,” and they take place from 3:00 pm.

Do you give heads up calls?

If you need head up calls, ensure you request them during booking.

Do you protect furniture in transit?

We protect furniture on transit utilizing felt pads and plastic, which ensure they are safe even if an incident takes place.

What are your terms of payments?

We only accept Cash on Delivery (COD). We do not accept cheques. Payments by credit cards attract a processing fee of $10-$20 based upon the type of card.
