The best way to experience this unique and special place is by exploring its nearby attractions. Here are some of our favourite things to do in and around Wahroonga:

Topsail Beach

This beautiful beach offers safe swimming with patrolled surf conditions all year round, great fishing spots, and clean facilities. This is the place to go for a day of fun in the sun. It’s also popular with bird watchers and nature lovers.

Wahroonga Rotary Park

This is a lovely park in Wahroonga that’s perfect for picnics, as well as tennis or soccer games. The park has plenty of places to sit down and enjoy the view of Wallabies Bay, lush green lawns, landscaped gardens and the majestic Norfolk pines. There are BBQ facilities too so you can make your own lunch before exploring more attractions nearby!

Topsail Golf Club

One way to experience all that Topsail Beach has to offer is by playing an 18 hole round at this unique course. With views overlooking both Sydney Harbour and Pittwater, it’s one golf club worth checking out – especially if you’re a keen golfer.

First Creek Reserve

This park is perfect for those who love to get active with lots of different activities available, such as cricket, soccer and basketball nets. You can also enjoy the breathtaking views it offers of Pittwater from this serene location. There are some lovely BBQ areas too if you want to bring your own food along or have lunch under local trees!

St Ives Shopping Village

For retail therapy in Wahroonga NSW head straight here – St Ives has everything including big name stores like Myer, David Jones and Woolworths Supermarkets all on one floor! It’s the ideal spot for families looking to spend an entire day shopping at ease without having to worry about parking or juggling children.

Royal National Park

This national park offers many sheltered picnic spots, walking tracks and cycling paths through some of Australia’s most beautiful scenery. Spend a few hours seeing koalas up close at one of their feedings or head out on an overnight hike with your family. If you’re feeling more adventurous try abseiling off rock faces! Fall asleep under the stars next to campfires after playing all day long. This is camping Australian-style – serene and peaceful with plenty of time just for you, your friends and family (and maybe an animal friend too). You’ll never forget this experience as it will be something that stays with you forever.
