Moore Park is a neighborhood in Randwick, NSW. It was named after George Moore, who had lived there and owned land there. The park in the area is called Moore Park and it has been home to some of Australia’s largest events such as Vivid 2016 which featured light installations by artists like Yayoi Kusama or Olafur Eliasson.

Every Saturday morning from 12 noon until late afternoon you can head to Moore Park market at No. 74 Empire Street Randwick (between Elizabeth Street and Cleveland Street) for fresh produce, baked goods, flowers, clothing, arts & crafts as well as live music performances by local musicians on weekends that are sure to get you moving – it’s especially popular among young families on Saturdays when picnic blankets line up against the wall outside while kids crawl over them searching for treasure!

Have Fun at The Dell Reserve

Moore Park has some beautiful green space. The Dell Reserve is a favourite spot for locals and visitors. It’s on the other side of Parramatta Road, so it offers some respite from traffic noise (don’t worry – there are plenty of trees). It features an artificial waterway where you can feed ducks or do your best to catch them with breadcrumbs!

Visit The Tennis Centre

The Moore Park Tennis Centre is a world-class tennis facility, with an eight court stadium and its own museum where you can learn about the history of tennis in Australia while waiting for your game to start! It also features Sydney’s only indoor hardcourt which makes it perfect for family fun or league competition as well as coaching clinics from professional coaches every Saturday morning at 11am.

Moore Park is home to the iconic Paddington Markets. Every Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday you can find a vibrant mix of artisan foods, clothing from independent designers as well as vintage finds at this popular marketplace in Sydney’s Inner West!

Go to the Museum or Art Gallery

Moore Park, NSW is home to the Sydney branch of The National Art School which offers an exhibition space as well as a gallery. It’s also near Queen Victoria Building, one of Australia’s most famous art galleries and it has free admission!

Spend Time With Friends at Local Cafes
