The Fairfield City Museum and Gallery is a great place to spend the day exploring and learning about the history of this amazing city. It provides a glimpse into life in nineteenth-century Sydney, as well as other significant periods in Australian history. The museum which can be found in Smithfield NSW 2164 also houses an art gallery that showcases contemporary works by Australian artists, who have been featured at international exhibitions such as Venice Biennale, Documenta Kassel, and the Sao Paulo Bienal.

The Fairfield City Museum and Gallery is located at Smithfield Square (next door), Level One John Street Sydney NSW 2000. Entry costs $12 for adults and $11.50 concessions.
Interactive workshops for children aged 5-12 years old: These workshops offer hands-on activities and lessons that take place in two-hour sessions. Children are able to learn about themes such as the environment, health, or history by doing things like exploring natural materials, creating artworks with a historical theme, or finding out more about what goes on inside our bodies!
