Explore Nature
The natural beauty that surrounds St Ives is one of its biggest attractions. Whether you’re looking at waterfalls or walking through beautiful forests, there’s always something new to see! One tip we can give: be sure not to miss out on Hannam Vale – while many people only come here after seeing the spectacular waterfall from Kurrajong Heights Road (which is still worth a visit), this forested valley has an abundance of other things going for it including walks down into the valley itself and excellent views across the valley from the opposite side of the road
Try Local Produce
St Ives is something of a foodie destination, with many great cafes and restaurants. One thing you should try while visiting? The local beer! It’s brewed in nearby St Leonards so it tastes just right for those who want to stay down south but have a taste of some quality brews
Visita Historic Site
There are lots of historic sites around town that visitors can learn more about; whether they’re interested in our convict past or French heritage, there’ll be plenty on offer here at any time during their visit. Of particular note is the old gaol which was built back when Australia had British law still enforced – it’s been turned into a museum that’s open to the public
Visit one of its Markets
There are many markets in and around St Ives. They’re a great way to find some unique gifts, enjoy some delicious food or simply get out and see what this region has to offer! With something for everyone at all times of the year, visitors will never be bored.
Walk Your Dog in a Park
Many visitors may not realise it, but St Ives NSW is home to one of the best dog parks in the country. Fenced and with large open spaces for dogs to roam around freely, this is a great way for your pet liek any othet to enjoy some quality time outside.
